Limestone soils are found in abundance at the Booker estate, just as they are across France’s Rhône Valley. Chalky and well-drained, these minerally soils often fissure and fracture during the dry summer months leading up to harvest—a sign of goodness to come. Fracture is a proud testament to this phenomenon. The 2022 vintage engulfs the nose with scents of black fruits, roast coffee, and vanilla. The palate unfolds with complex flavors of blackberry, clove, and graphite, all expanding into a deep, dazzling finish.
