SPRING RELEASE NOTES
We are excited that you will be the first to taste our striking reds from the 2024 vintage. The 2024 growing season felt like a return to the classic conditions of westside Paso Robles. A relatively mild spring led to a delayed bud break and steady canopy development, while a midsummer heatwave created limited yields with concentrated fruit that ripened well during harvest. Our Regenerative Organic Certified® vineyard responded with wines that offer both power and precision, as you will discover in this collection. This vintage ultimately highlights the resilience of our vineyard and the clarity that comes from a season shaped by both patience and restraint. Enjoy!
Grenache 81%, Syrah 17%, Mourvèdre 2%
Our first release from the recent 2025 vintage adds a cheerful note to this collection, just in time for the blue skies of spring and summer. Booker Pink is perfect for these seasons in the sun, but the 2025 vintage shows that it is more than just another rosé. Soft, delicate aromas suggest orange blossom, fuzzy peaches, fresh strawberries and ginger peach white tea. Round and silky on the palate, it finishes with refreshing acidity and citrus notes. An elevated rosé for any occasion.

100% Grenache
Once upon a time, Booker Founder Eric Jensen pulled a barrel sample of Grenache and shared it with Justin Smith of Saxum Vineyards. Justin took one sip and declared, “She’s a ripper”— Australian slang for something excellent. Ripper was born, and it has lived up to its name ever since. The 2024 Ripper is loaded with bright fruit aromas accented by flower petal, cherry pie, cinnamon stick and dried earth. Juicy, focused and resonant, it finishes with deep red fruits, fine tannins and balanced acidity.

Grenache 51%, Syrah 31%, Mourvèdre 18%
Oublié is our version of the classic GSM blend—Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre. The 2023 vintage dazzles with aromas of black currant, boysenberry, wild herbs, and cocoa. The palate is all about black raspberry, with a twist of rose petal, nutmeg, and clove, leading to a silky-smooth, seductive finish. It’s a perfect balance of fruity Grenache, weighty Syrah, and earthy Mourvèdre.

Syrah 73%, Mourvèdre 14%, Grenache 12%, Viognier 1%
Soils and climate are only half of a wine’s story—the other half is written by elevation, slope and exposure. Vertigo is our ode to this principle, aptly named for the steep, high-rise vineyard blocks from which this blend hails. The 2024 vintage entices with notes of blueberry pie, blackberry cinnamon, vanilla bean, forest floor and Paso garrigue. Explosive and concentrated on the palate, this is a singular Rhône-style blend that could only come from the Booker Estate.

100% Syrah
Unapologetically expressive, Fracture pays tribute to the distinctive limestone soils that define the Booker Estate—the ideal ingredients for growing this quintessential Paso Robles Syrah. The 2024 vintage is everything you have come to expect from Fracture: volume, freshness, length and complexity. Scents of violet, blackberry cobbler, olallieberry, baking spice and graphite anticipate rich, buoyant flavors with trailing notes of tapenade. Velvety textures melt into a finish that doesn’t quit. Another reminder why Fracture is considered one of the world’s great Syrahs.

100% Tempranillo
Ah, Tempranillo, the beautiful outlier among our family of Rhône varieties. Indeed, this timeless Iberian grape has found a permanent home at the Booker Estate—and one sip of the 2024 vintage shows why. The nose is flush with classic Tempranillo personality, including tobacco leaf, cigar box, bay leaf, dried cherry and currant. Assertive yet elegant, it offers a soft, silky entrance with flavors of leather, fig and dried thyme, all framed by well-structured tannins. A wine of pure rustic charm.
