SPRING RELEASE NOTES
Our regenerative organic estate vineyard is waking up, and we are pumped to share our Spring Release with you. The cycle starts with cover crops between vineyard rows—legumes for nitrogen fixing and prairie grasses that push water deep into the roots. By March we will see bud break, where the vines show their first signs of life. For now, we look forward to sharing our new release reds from the stunning 2023 vintage. This vintage was a winemaker’s dream—moderate weather, perfect ripening, and wines that pack depth, finesse, and staying power. Enjoy!

ROUSSANNE 41%, CHARDONNAY 30%, VIOGNIER 22%, MARSANNE 7%
We begin with something fresh and elegant—the latest vintage of our classic Booker White, a Rhône-style blend with a provocative Chardonnay twist. The nose is loaded with citrus blossom, jasmine tea, cantaloupe and blood orange rind. On the palate, Viognier sets the tone with stone fruit flavors, and Roussanne brings rich silky textures. Chardonnay provides notes of brioche and crushed pineapple. A kiss of silky French oak provides a perfect flourish to the finish.
100% GRENACHE
Starting with our inaugural 2005 vintage, Ripper is the wine that revealed what is possible from Paso Robles Grenache. The legend continues with the 2023 EXT edition, which was matured for 22 months in 35% new French oak puncheons. With extended aging, the wine’s nose becomes even more effusive with accents of rich cherry pie, cranberry relish, strawberry and graphite. Beautifully structured and astonishingly fresh—this is Ripper at its very best.


GRENACHE 45%, SYRAH 30%, MOURVÈDRE 25%
Look no further than Oublié for the magical synergy between Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. These three Rhône varieties mesh seamlessly for an expressive bouquet of lavender, marionberry, Japanese plum and cinnamon stick. Extended maturation draws out dreamy notes of raspberry coulis, wild sage and Paso Robles garrigue, while plush, rounded textures leave a lasting impression.
49% SYRAH, 32% MOURVÈDRE, 18% GRENACHE, 1% VIOGNIER
A taste of Vertigo takes you to the very top of our regenerative organic estate, where the views are stunning and the slopes are daunting—only the courageous can farm this part of the vineyard. The 2023 vintage inverts the classic GSM style, featuring a heavier dose of Mourvèdre that gives this wine its distinctive earthy core. The EXT version bursts from the glass with blue and black fruits augmented by violets, graphite and savory spice, all finishing with polished intensity.


100% SYRAH
Fracture is named for our estate’s limestone soils. This one-hundred percent Syrah is renowned for striking a perfect balance of power and grace, and the 2023 EXT edition takes it to another level. Aged for 22 months in 70 percent new French oak barrels, this wine is heady with aromas of blackberry preserve, olallieberry cobbler and pie crust. A rich, luscious mouthfeel punctuates this quintessential Paso Robles Syrah.
100% TEMPRANILLO
Tempranillo is the outlier grape that leads us out of the Rhône sphere and into the world of Iberian wines. Grown in a small block at the front of the vineyard, this bottling is prized for its big personality that is both rustic and refined. The 2023 Tempranillo EXT delivers in spades, starting with seductive aromas of leather, cassis, black tea and fig. Round and plush at the center, it expands with a cascade of dark red fruits before finishing with savory goodness.
