2006 Vertigo is drinking its best now, reminding me of why I thought it was my best wine from '06. The Grenache and Syrah complement each other beautifully in this wine, which is made in the New World style of "rare back and let it rip"!!! The wine is much more balanced than its '05 predecessor, showing beautiful red fruits, ripe tannins and an elegant mid-palate.
90% Syrah and 10% Grenache
